Family Mediation

Family mediation is a conflict resolution process based on the guided intervention of a professional, who will neutrally help each family member to define the problem as they see it, understand others’ opinions and interests, and together seek lasting solutions over time.

Through the participation of those directly involved in resolving their conflicts, the mediator ensures that each one becomes aware of their active role, not only in the present moment but also in the future.

Mediation is based on a free decision made by the conflicting parties, without any pressure and without any way to force it to take place. Similarly, during the mediation process, if any party wishes to end it, they may do so. Likewise, any agreements reached must be reported to the appropriate judicial body so that their execution and effectiveness can be formalized.
